Flensted Mobiles is a family business on the island of Funen in Denmark (where Han Christian Andersen was born). I've seen several of these designs around at various shops or appearing on blogs, not knowing they are all made by the same company. The light, delicate shapes twirl gently at the slightest breeze, without sound. While they may not have the massive scale of a Calder, you can get the same artistic flare with a Flensted mobile: not too pricey! And what's wrong with being smaller, anyway?
