:: Creative Thursday ... on Friday ::

Looking for cute artwork to adorn your walls? Something for your little one's bedroom? Creative Thursday has all the above paintings (prints of originals) and more on Etsy. You can visit her blog and website as well. These paintings inspire me to paint more. They're so simple, but beautiful and clever, and they prove you don't have to do something elaborate to make a wonderfully happy work of art.

[ Coco ]

I'm never the first to hear about anything, but just in case I'm not the LAST, I thought I'd remind you of the biographical film, Coco Before Chanel. Audrey Tautou looks very much like Chanel (well, softer and less stern), don't you think? Photos from Screenrush, Filmofilia and Trendmill.

{ Decorative Alphabets }

Absolutely incredible decorative letters in this photo set by OneTwentyEight.

Ladies and gentlemen, have you ever seen anything quite this insane? The creations from Enna Design, little felt clips and creatures, have such amazingly meticulous detail it makes you want to, well, buy them!

And now that I officially accept wearing hair clips, perhaps some of these extravagant little works of art will be an option!

< Hello Lucky! >

I can't believe how many letterpressed greeting cards are available from Hello Lucky. All so cute. I especially love that each piece of artwork obviously took enough time and attention to detail to merit being letterpressed, unlike a lot of what is out there. I mean, honestly, who wants to pay $4.50 for a card with a little daisy on it that looks like it took 2 minutes to draw? These pieces are works of art! (I just bought the "I'd be lost without you" card myself).

[ Woodtec ]

Very clever iPod dock idea from Woodtec. The first one sold out already, but I'm putting it up to show such a cool idea. The great thing about Etsy is you can always contact the seller and ask for a custom piece.

< Halloween Preview >

I saw these great little pumpkins today on Etsy, from Pumpkin Hollow, and thought they were a nifty find. These have Tim Burton written all over them.
