- Helen Dardik is My Hero -

I practically broke down and cried when I saw these beautiful pattern designs by Helen Dardik. They were made for her Tuileries collection available on high-quality gift cards from Lagom. These are amazing (this isn't even all of them!). I'm getting some to frame as art in my house.

June Craft Mini Print Calendar

I just saw this adorable calendar on June Craft (via PaperCrave). Great gift idea, for sure! This is my favorite so far for next year. Some year I will do a calendar, but I want to have time to do it right. 18-month-olds are so occupying.

This is such a cute idea, and these are so cute: letterpress recipe cards by Suzy Ultman. What a fantastic way to turn a shared treat into a real gift!

< Mibo >

I ordered a couple of these print-it-yourself PDF projects from Mibo Studio last year (along with a print-it-yourself calendar, an idea I'm hoping to use this year in my Etsy shop...stay tuned). You buy the PDF, download it, and then can print out as many of these little guys as you want! Mind you, it's not as easy as clipping coupons (you probably want to use and X-acto knife). These could make VERY cute place card holders for table settings for a shower or holiday meal.

= Free Halloween Banner =

UPDATE: This download isn't currently working. Please email me at jeanie@thepapernut.com if you would like the file.
Well, here it is again. The last couple years I have posted this Halloween banner I designed so you can download it for free! Just print it out and follow the instructions (you'll need some ribbon and a hole punch).

< Paper Culture >

I pretty much love Facebook. And though I'm not as interested in the commercial usage of it, I did "like" one very cool paper establishment I discovered there: Paper Culture. They print everything on recycled paper. Their massive portfolio of designs is sure to make you keep Paper Culture in mind for your next baby shower, party, or announcement.

- R. Nichols -

R. Nichols' new website has some cute new designs, plus a new blog. I've posted about his work before (here and here), and I will always be inspired by it. You have to see the cards in person because they are all beautifully printed with bright colors on lovely thick paper (they feel like they were screenprinted). The original forms in the artwork were meticulously cut from paper.

[ I Love Rifle Paper Co. ]

=

I am convinced nothing could be cooler than the work of Rifle Paper Co. I have a mixture of feelings about discovering their work, because I am amazingly inspired, but also horribly jealous! Even the website and blog are just perfectly perfect.

xx Lara Cameron xx

Yes, Lara Cameron hand-printed fabrics are all over the place, so you've seen them before, especially the birch print featured on the previous post on Little Mary Moo. I'm currently investigating where all those wonderful hand-printed fabrics came from. Lara Cameron is a designer of all sorts. Visiting her site, I discovered she also make letterpress greeting cards (kinda scarry how much my Aspen suite, pictured below, resembles her birch card...but it's a trendy, look, right?

(( digital printing success ))

My latest wedding invitation design I just did for a friend of mine in San Diego. We wanted to keep the price low, so we printed digital. It turned out great! Everything was really pulled together by the use of Envelopements, fabulous pocket-fold enclosures.
