Hand-printed paper just makes the world a more beautiful place, don't you agree? If you usually just look at this stuff but never buy, I seriously encourage you to invest a bit of cash in something letterpressed or printed, because it's so inexpensive and honestly, you can't afford not to have art in your life.

Shop Highlight: Doe

I love this shop: Doe. It is tiny, but it stands out: just a clean little nook along Haight street on the walk towards the Haight-Ashbury hub. I haven't been to San Fran for ages, but this is one shop I would love to get my cards into.

It is never to early to start thinking about spring...and summer. And isn't there just something invigorating about shopping for swimwear in the middle of winter. The thought of palm trees and warm water makes a nice escape when the slush is getting you down. So here's a selection of suits I've dug up (sorry boys...the girlie stuff is just so much more exciting).

You're sure to have seen R. Nichols distinctive work if you've gone in almost any fine paper store in the last 10 years (or seen the book French Women Don't Get Fat, a favorite of mine). I am hopelessly in love with his art. Now available are R. Nichols original art prints. Add that to my wish list!
