~ shulte wedding ~

In a previous post I shared my letterpress invitations for Jessica Shulte. Here are some images of the gift tags as they were incorporated into this amazing beach side wedding (including a baby sea turtle release!). I love seeing how it all worked together. I'm currently working on some baby shower pieces for a client who saw what I did for Jessica's wedding and loved it. Thank you, Stephanie Williams for your amazing photography. To see the rest of this wedding as well as more events photographed by Stephanie William's, visit her site and blog.

...Glamour Junkie...

Oooh, this stuff is so pretty! I wouldn't wear it to burp a baby, but what a perfect look for making yourself stand out at any social event (or your own wedding), subtle but impossible not to notice. Visit Glamour Junkie's shop here

(( digital printing success ))

My latest wedding invitation design I just did for a friend of mine in San Diego. We wanted to keep the price low, so we printed digital. It turned out great! Everything was really pulled together by the use of Envelopements, fabulous pocket-fold enclosures.

* Wedding Suite *

A little while ago, I had the awesome privilege of creating this wedding invitation suite for a client, Bari Kessler, from the "Spring" collection in The Paper Nut Wedding collection. Thanks, Bari! (Printed by Tryst Press in Provo, Utah).

{ Sunshine & Ravioli }

Place your orders! I usually hesitate to order anything online because I hate to pay for shipping, but this is one online shop you will want to order multiple things from, and so it makes it all worth it. Wedding? Party? Birthday? Baby shower? Christmas gifts? Surely you have needs in some of these categories. Check out Sunshine & Ravioli. So many cute things! They make me feel all warm and fuzzy, like I'm shopping in a cozy little beach town home decor shop.

* Cute Overload *

Um...would someone puh-lease explain to me how I can possibly live without one of these adorable squirrels? Myko Bocek Studios is my latest Etsy discovery. I don't understand how these creative women make their little creatures, but I want one!

The Small Object makes the coolest cake toppers ever, and you can even have one custom made to fit your wedding! For only just over $150, that's a pretty memorable investment!

{ Modesty is the Best Policy }

Check out these gorgeous wedding dress styles from Charlotte Casadéjus in London. I know there is a huge market for wedding dress that still leave something to the imagination (and that aren't boring enough to make you scream), but they're so hard to find! So I'm going to try to hunt down more styles to post.

{ A Summer Wedding }

The little sister of one of my very best friends just got married, and I fell in love with her cake! Created by Anne's Cake Creations, the black damask-inspired pattern over white fondant is so cool on the square-tiered structure. I've really never seen a cake like it. She continued the theme of black-and-white patterns highlighted by punchy pinks throughout the entire event. I also must say that I really love weddings where people put their money where it counts, being playful and creative (love the cotton candy wagon). Keeping things simple, colorful and fun lets the focus stay where it should: on the bride and groom. Congratulations, Chelsea!

Betsey White

Um...why is it I search and search for awesome wedding invitation design, and manage to skirt around discovering an company like Betsey White? I love their work. I love their logo. I love their website design. You'll be as awestruck as me after you cruise through their incredibly beautiful, extensive, and fantastically organized blog.They are like that girl at school who has the perfect haircut, dresses like a fashion model, AND has a 4.0. Do I sound bitter? I do hope not! Jealous? Well, I am, a little.
