These super cute wall decals are from Chocovenyl, a UK based shop that sells fabulous fabric wall stickers on Etsy and now has their own site. They are make my alphabet letters and some cute sets by one of my favorite designers, Helen Dardik: Princess and the Pea and Little Red Riding Hood

How cute are these? I just had to share. The little figures cost $30 a piece at Austria Brass on Etsy. I just discovered them because I am looking for different animal shapes to inspire a new children's book I am working on with my aunt (a Noah's Ark story aimed at toddlers).

= Mermaid Print in Action =

I was sooo excited to get a message from one of my customers sharing a link to her baby's room featured in Ohdeedoh (now part of Apartment Therapy). And there's my mermaid print! Woohoo! I made this mermaid print to go with Heather Ross's Mendocino mermaid fabric line, which I also have in my daughter Ivy's room (the pink version). So here's some pictures of that as well.

My very talent and very wonderful friend Tysha requested a yellow version of my alphabet poster, which is why I had one made. Thank you, Tysha, for the great idea! Yellow with gray is so popular and I have fallen in love with it myself. If I could take a decent photo of an interior design I would post about my own bedroom (I have the yellow/gray giraffe print of mine above our bed, which features DwellStudio for Target's Mandala bedspread). Someday. But for now, here is the absolute breathtaking room Tysha did for her little ones, displaying the large alphabet print over Sawyer's bed. See more pics on her beautiful blog here.

Searching Google Images for "owl pillow" brought this little beauty of a shop up (and a lot of other cute stuff...I recommend it). Only $45 for these pillows. A real steal, if ya ask me. Of course, you'd have to order more than one. How could you live with yourself if you didn't?

Have you seen this? I just went on the Tour of Homes here in Yakima County, and one home had three of these Oval First Year frames up in the hallway (one for each grandchild). Adorable. My friend flipped it over to see where it was from. I guessed right! Pottery Barn Kids, of course. I also was almost right on guessing the price. $44, but free shipping!
